Can we lose them?
A good question; one that I have heard several times. And YES, you can!
Basically we are trying to cover the expense of hosting this website on a web server. It isn’t there, yet. But I have hope and an optimistic outlook. To lose the ads, just turn off images in the preferences settings for your web browser. That’s all.
Why Ads in the First Place?
As you may have realized, we have several different websites in our little network. They all cost money to serve to casual browsers and search engines on the World Wide Web part of the Internet (The Web).
Never mind that the content is free, provided by me and the few PR firms that either directly post their news on a site (www.MeasurementMedia.com, www.MeasurementDevices.com, www.TempSensor.net, TempSensorNEWS etc.) or sent to me by email.
In addition, we are on a number of news & PR email lists and receive tons of email of various quality.
We have two websites in our Network that have no advertising at all.
They are:
- www.SpectralEmissivity.com (also www.SpectralEmittance.com) | focused on the Optical Property of Matter described by the link name and title.
- Venditoris.com | Our contribution to the important effort to get “Bad Guys & Gals” erased from the Internet, in general, and the Web in particular
, and
We would appreciate any and all clicks through to our advertisers and/or donations to our ad-free sites. Also any traffic and or purchases on our little eCommerce website at MrPyro.com will be greatly appreciated. It deals mostly with popular temperature, moisture and weather sensors and books.
Oh, yes! Almost forgot.
If you have comments and ideas about content and or website features that you would like to see here or on any of our sites, just add a comment or contact me directly.
Thank you for your time.
